Congress Refuses Pentagon Budget Cuts

As the US military defense budget balloons out of control, Congress is refusing to stop spending money on weapons. Lawmakers are claiming that cutting back on military weapons would hurt the economy and put more Americans out of work despite the Army’s wishes to stop the production of tanks. Ben Freeman with The Project on Government Oversight and Paul McLeary, a land warfare reporter with Defense News, joins us to discuss if there are hidden motives behind Congress’ refusal to cut spending.
